Hope House PGC

Welcome to Hope House Prince George County, the sanctuary created by The Ladies of Hope Ministries (The LOHM), specifically designed to offer a holistic environment of support, guidance, and secure housing for women affected by incarceration and trauma.

Our mission at Hope House is to provide justice and trauma-impacted women with a co-living program that facilitates their transition to life after incarceration. Through access to safe housing, support services, and a caring community, our house guests can concentrate on various aspects of their reentry process, all with the invaluable assistance of our dedicated Housing Coordinators.

The House

Hope House PGC has 4 bedrooms which all have full-size beds. There are 3 full bathrooms and one 1/2 bath. One full bath is located in the attic area and can accommodate 7 women.

Hope House has been dedicated to helping women find meaningful employment, educational opportunities, daily reunification, and healing through trauma-informed care services.

House guests also participate in a Savings Contribution Plan, which encourages contributing to a monthly savings account that can then be utilized towards moving or living expenses once a house guest is ready to move on from Hope House. Hope House guests progress through the four-stage, HOPE framework. The scale addresses healing, employment, education, financial literacy, and securing long-term housing.
